The company is founded in 1892 as Abercrombie - a retailer of apparel and sporting goods for an outdoor lifestyle. In 1904 Ezra Fitch became a partner. A&F now sells its namesake brand, as well as Abercrombie Kids and Hollister Co., across the globe.
